The importance of having the right equipment
Climbers know the importance of selecting the right equipment in order to deal with a variety of conditions and situations on their expeditions.
Before embarking on a journey through the Himalayas of Law our Legal Sherpa team meets with clients for an Equipment Check and Journey Planning Session.
What is an Equipment Check and Journey Planning Session?
Our Equipment Check and Journey Planning Session is a review of your current legal document situation and ensures that you have the right legal and financial equipment for the journey of the rest of your life. We currently offer two different kinds of Equipment Check and Journey Planning Sessions for our Explorers: Forward Planning (Estate Planning) and Business and Corporate.

What to expect during your Equipment Check and Journey Planning Session
We have blocked two hours off on our calendar for your Equipment Check and Journey Planning Session. Your Legal Sherpa lawyer is expecting to meet with you and with anyone else you will be planning with. Please bring photos of those you will be planning for to your session. We hope you plan to be available for the full two hours we have blocked out for you so that you can get the most out of your meeting. If this time commitment will not be possible at the time presently scheduled, please give us a call to reschedule at 416 964 0021.
Your session will begin with your Legal Sherpa lawyer sharing some background about how Yeti Law with its mission of Law... with understanding came into being and what it can mean to you. You'll then walk through "what would happen" if something were to happen to you now with the resources and plans you presently have in place. This is the Equipment Check part of your session. You'll let your Legal Sherpa lawyer know if "what would happen" is okay with you or not and identify the gaps between what exists and what you wish to happen. Your Legal Sherpa lawyer will then help you design a plan to protect your family in accordance with your wishes. This is the Journey Planning part of your session. Your Legal Sherpa team can have your plan in place protecting your family in as little as four weeks after your Equipment Check and Journey Planning Session.
