E.M. (Yeti) Agnew B.Sc., J.D. Solicitor, Notary Public
Yeti attended Neuchâtel Junior College and then studied Applied Chemistry at the University of Waterloo and law at the University of Toronto. Yeti was called to the bar in 1975. She is a former Trustee of the Royal Ontario Museum, Governor of the University of Waterloo, and Trustee of the University of Waterloo Foundation. Yeti has an active interest in museums and art galleries, and is a recognised specialist in law related to collections.
She was recognized as one of 50 Distinguished Alumni by the University of Waterloo Alumni Council on the occasion of the University's 50th anniversary and one of 50 Alumni of Honour by the Waterloo Faculty of Science. She was named a Trailblazer by the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto in 2006.
She has completed 6 marathons in the past 6 years and this year obtained her ski instructor CSIA Level 1 certification.
Yeti has written numerous articles for various publications and had 2 books published: Legaleasy - a step-by-step legal guide to collecting for Canadian art galleries and museums; and The Art World - Law, Business and Practice in Canada, co-authored with Aaron Milrad.
